No setup fees, no plate fees, no artwork fees. The per-unit price includes all setup, ink, screening, production, and quality control. The only costs are the per-unit price based on quantity and colors, plus shipping. Digital proof, unlimited revisions, color separation, and file conversion are all free.

Volume pricing tiers: 250 · 500 · 1,000 · 2,500 · 5,000+ units. Per-unit cost drops 55–65% from MOQ to the 5,000+ tier. Example: PP cups at 250 units = $0.58/unit (1 color). Same cup at 5,000+ = $0.26/unit — a 55% savings. Custom wholesale pricing available for orders above 50,000 units/month.

Screen printing allows 1, 2, or 3 spot colors. Each color is one pass through the press. Approximate cost impact:

• 1 color: base price
• 2 colors: +20–25% per unit
• 3 colors: +40–50% per unit vs. 1 color

Most effective logos use 1–2 bold spot colors. Complex gradients or photographic images are not suitable for screen printing.

Yes. Sample orders (50–100 cups) are available to verify print quality, color accuracy, and cup feel before a large commitment. Sample orders are priced at a premium per-unit rate. Contact us at contact@htprinters.com with your artwork and specs to request a sample quote.

Multiply your weekly usage by the weeks of inventory you want. Example: a café serving 200 drinks/day needs 1,400 cups/week × 4 weeks = 5,600 cups (order 6,000 for buffer). For events: headcount × 1.5 (guests often take multiple cups). Most customers order 1–3 months of supply to balance inventory costs against volume savings.

HT Printers screen-prints on five cup materials:

• PP (polypropylene) — most popular, opaque, BPA-free, recyclable #5, 9–32oz
• PET crystal-clear — highest optical clarity, recyclable #1, cold beverages only, 9–24oz

PP cups — most versatile: opaque, food-safe, BPA-free, work for hot and cold, lowest cost, excellent color reproduction. Best all-round choice.

PET cups — crystal-clear: the drink color shows through the transparent walls, creating premium visual impact. Ideal for cocktails, juices, and smoothies. Cold beverages only.

Paper cups — eco choice: work for hot coffee and tea, compostable options available, preferred by coffee shops and sustainable brands.

Quick rule: PP for everyday use → PET for visual impact → Paper for hot drinks.

Yes, with the right material. Paper cups (single or double wall) handle hot beverages up to 200°F. Styrofoam cups also work well for hot drinks. PP cups handle warm beverages in practice but are generally rated for cold use. PET cups are cold-only — they soften above 150°F. For hot coffee, tea, or soup: use paper or styrofoam.

Recyclability by material:

• PET (#1) — most recyclable, accepted everywhere
• PP (#5) — recyclable in most municipal programs
• PS (#6) — limited recycling acceptance
• Paper — recyclable, compostable options available
• Styrofoam — generally not recyclable curbside

Water-based inks used by HT Printers do not significantly impact recyclability.

250 cups per design — one of the lowest MOQs in the US custom cup market. Applies to all five materials. Most competitors require 500–1,000 units minimum. The 250-unit minimum lets restaurants run seasonal promotions, event organizers test new designs, and new businesses get to market without overcommitting inventory.

Yes. Each design requires its own 250-unit minimum. You can combine multiple designs in a single purchase. Example: 250 cups with Logo A + 250 cups with Logo B = 500 cups total, one invoice. Volume discounts apply per-design based on that design's quantity, not the combined order total.

Four steps:

1. Request a free quote — specify cup type, quantity, size, number of colors.
2. Receive your quote + artwork requirements within 24 hours.
3. Submit artwork (AI, EPS, PDF, or 300 DPI PNG).
4. Approve your digital proof → production begins the same day.

Payment: major credit cards, ACH bank transfer, net-30 for established accounts.

HT Printers uses standard industry cup dimensions that match all standard lids (dome, flat, sip-through). Matching lids can be supplied on request — specify lid type when requesting your quote. Lid compatibility is guaranteed across all cup sizes. No custom lid modifications are required.

Accepted formats: AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, PDF, and PNG at 300 DPI+. Vector formats (AI, EPS, PDF) are strongly preferred — they scale without quality loss. PNG must be 300 DPI or higher at the intended print size. JPEG files are not accepted. Our pre-press team performs free file conversion, color separation, and pre-flight review on every order.

Yes — every order includes a free digital proof within 24 hours of receiving your artwork. The proof shows exact color placement, scaling, and positioning on your chosen cup. Unlimited revisions are free. Production only begins after you explicitly approve the proof. There are no charges for proof changes or revision rounds.

Yes. HT Printers performs Pantone Coated (PMS) color matching on all orders. Specify your PMS colors in your artwork file or order notes. Natural variance is ±5% due to ink mixing and substrate absorption. If exact color accuracy is critical for brand compliance, we recommend a sample order first. CMYK to Pantone conversion is available at no charge.

Printable area wraps around the cup cylinder:

• 16oz PP cup: approximately 3.5" wide × 3" tall
• PET cups: slightly larger due to cylinder shape
• Paper cups: limited by wrap-around seam
• Styrofoam cups: approximately 2.5" × 2"

Two options for PET crystal-clear cups:

Without white underbase: ink is translucent — the cup's transparency and drink color show through, creating a sophisticated look. Best for simple, bold designs.

With white underbase: an extra white pass makes all colors fully opaque and vivid regardless of drink color. Best for detailed logos with specific brand colors.

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damaged or defective cups. We will reprint and reship the affected quantity at no charge, no questions asked. Our quality control process inspects every batch before shipping — but we stand behind every order unconditionally.

Yes. All inks used by HT Printers are FDA-compliant water-based inks meeting food and beverage contact safety standards. Non-toxic, heavy-metal-free, tested for migration. UV LED inks used on PET cups also meet food-safe standards. Every ink batch is tested before production. Safe for direct food and beverage contact on all five cup materials.

Screen printing (HT Printers' specialty): uses physical screens to push ink onto the cup — one pass per color. Vibrant opaque colors, excellent durability, food-safe inks, cost-effective at 250+ units, works on all five materials. Best for 1–3 bold spot colors.

Digital printing: inkjet-based, full-color photographic images without screens. Unlimited colors, no setup cost. Higher per-unit price, limited material compatibility, less durable on plastic. Available on request for specific applications.
