Quality & Compliance

Quality Control & Food-Safe Printing

What actually happens between your approved proof and a finished cup — the checks that keep every order food-safe and consistent.

Built Into Every Order

Three Layers of Quality Control

🧪

FDA-Compliant Inks

Every ink batch is food-safe and tested before it touches a cup.

🔍

Print Inspection

Color accuracy and registration checked throughout the production run, not just at the end.

Proof Approval Gate

Production never starts without your written proof sign-off.

Food-Safe Ink Standards

All printing uses food-safe, FDA-compliant inks applied to the exterior of the cup only, cured to prevent any migration into the beverage. Ink batches are tested and certified before entering production — this applies across all six materials we print: PET, PP, PS, PLA, paper, and foam.

How Color and Registration Are Checked

Screen printing runs are spot-checked throughout production, not just inspected at the end of a batch. That means color drift or registration issues are caught mid-run rather than discovered after your full order is already packed.

The Proof Approval Gate

No order enters production without your written approval on a digital proof. This single control point catches the majority of potential errors — wrong color, wrong sizing, misplaced logo — before a single cup is printed.

Material-Specific Compliance

  • PP, PET, PS: BPA-free, FDA 21 CFR food contact approved
  • PLA: ASTM D6400 certified for commercial compostability, FDA food contact approved
  • Paper & Foam: Food-safe coatings and inks rated for their intended temperature range

Material-specific safety details are covered on each product page — see PP, PET, PLA for full compliance specs.
